Spores with Andreas Tegnander

Spores is back with a new masterclass led by no one else than Andreas Tegnander. He approaches sound design from a different angle, exploring new ways to compose, experiment, and push digital audio into unexpected territory. In this technical masterclass we will shift focus away from generating sound through synthesis and toward transforming sound through chains of effects. Instead of starting from oscillators or instruments, Andreas shows how with simple material, samples, recordings, or even a click or tones, you can explore how complex, evolving sonic structures can emerge through processing. The core idea is to treat sound design as a system of transformations, where composition and timbre are shaped through signal flow, feedback, and interaction rather than isolated sound sources. Designed for intermediate to advanced producers but open to any producer that wants to learn more about creating systems, not just sounds.
